This course is exclusive to Coolings. Knowing which plants to choose for your garden and how to place them can be a difficult process. This course aims to introduce students to a wide range of topics which will help them achieve the right results.
Students will learn a wide range of plants and trees, design theories, planting styles, how to draw up planting plans, and about some of the most influential planting designers in history.
Some basic drawing equipment will be required.
Alex Lindsay (BA Hons, GD DIP) is a working garden designer, he studied at Winchester School of Art (Southampton University) and Merrist Wood, Guildford.
