Past charitable contributions
Coolings proudly supported Demelza between 2023 & 2024. For each on-site transaction made with a Coolings Family card through the company tills between 1st January 2023 and 31st December 2024, Coolings Nurseries Ltd, will paid a sum of 10p +VAT.* During this time we successfully raised £40,000 for the Charity with the support of our loyal customers.


The two-year partnership supported the charity’s extraordinary care for extraordinary children across Kent, East Sussex and South East London, providing creative therapies and short breaks, to practical and emotional support for families and siblings, and care towards the end of life.
Demelza supports over 2,500 children and their family members, wherever is best for them: in Demelza’s hospices or in their homes, online, at school and in local communities. This includes babies, children and young people with serious or life-limiting conditions but also their mums, dads and carers, their brothers and sisters, their grandparents and other family members.

Coolings aid for Ukraine
Coolings proudly supported Ukraine through staff cake sales, donations from every family card scanned and much more. Read more below on how our amazing team have supported this great cause since the start of the conflict.
Staff Cake Sale
Our team have come together by baking (and eating!) amazing cakes in our staff rooms to help raise money for this great cause. Well done everyone! Total raised: £1891.10
Family Card Donations
For a month we donated 10p from every Coolings Family card transaction to the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal. Thank you for all your support! Total raised: £1763.80

Gary’s visit to Krakow
Our Chairman, Gary Carvosso drove a van full of sleeping bags, camping equipment, baby milk, medicines, first aid kits, tins of meat and fish, pasta and rice to the centre of Krakow, to be delivered by mini bus into Ukraine. Supported by Hope Church Sevenoaks and Hope Church Bromley.
