Queen Elizabeth II

Everyone here at Coolings are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II, our thoughts and condolences are with the Royal Family at this time. Her Majesty became patron of the RHS in 1952 and was always a great supporter of horticulture, she will be greatly missed by all.

The Queen had been a regular visitor to the Royal Horticultural Society flower show with her parents as a child, and formally attended more than 50 times during her 70-year reign. Let’s take a brief look at Queen Elizabeth II’s history at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and past exhibitions in her honour…

We thank her Majesty profoundly for all the support she has shown the Royal Horticultural Society as Royal Patron over the years. The Queen’s support for the RHS has been a great source of strength to horticulture, nationally and worldwide.
