Sow thinly direct into finely raked, moist, warm soil at a depth of 6mm (¼") in rows 15cm (6") apart. (Germination 7-15 days.). Thin seedlings to about 20cm (8") between plants removing any competing weed seedlings. Grows best in partial shade in well cultivated moisture retentive soil. Water well during periods of dry weather. Pick over regularly to encourage fresh growth. An easily grown alternative to watercress. Sowing ? Cropping – 8-10 weeks.
