- Sow late winter to mid-spring at 24°C (75°F) in a good seed compost. Sow seed on surface of compost and gently firm down compost. Do not exclude light, sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful. Germination usually takes 7-15 days.
- When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost 30cm (12in) apart in sun and ordinary well drained soil.

Description
This easy grow annual produces a constant mass of papery double daisy blooms, giving rise to the common name ‘everlasting daisy’. Flowers not only last in the garden, they are excellent as a dried cut flower, retaining their colour and shape well. Pinch out side-shoots for fewer bigger blooms, or remove the top shoot for masses of smaller blooms.
