- Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 70-75F (20-25C). Sowing Depth: 1/16in (1.5mm). Sowing Time: Mid January to Mid March. Germination can take from 3-21 days. Provide a steady soil temperature both day and night for best results.
