Description
Unusual and wonderfully scented flowers, with yellow bases and quirky, spiky heads. Perfect to create a quintessential English Garden feel when planted alongside Foxgloves and Snapdragons (Antirrhinums) to which they are related. With their fantastic fragrance reminiscent of coconuts, why not grow your own Bounty Bar with Chocolate Daisy and Chocolate Solider either side! A blend of staccato structure and a riot of colour with its conical petals in vivid yellow and crisp white, transforming any planting scheme into a botanical party. When temperatures are mild, this belle of the masked ball produces long elegant upright stems that support clusters of its elaborate masked dancers with the form of unbelievable, coconut scented flowers. The showy and dainty little plant is also very obliging in the garden and seeds germinate easily, going on to grow en-mass proving an eye-catching feature. The Nemsia Masquerade is a fantastic fragranced plant, perfect on patios, in hanging baskets, pots on garden tables, window boxes, next to the back door and even lining paths. Celebrate your inner dramatic self with the Nemesia Masquerade! Growing Information Sow in good quality compost in a propagator 6mm (½") deep and keep at 18-21C. (Germination 7-14 days). Transfer seedlings to individual pots or trays at 5cm (2") spacings. Acclimatise to outside conditions before planting out at 30-35cm (12-14") spacings in a sunny position.
