Description
A unique strain of perennial lupins with exceptionally bold spikes of blooms. This mix shows a wide range of colours which includes many unusual shades of pure yellow, orange and bright crimson, as well as attractive bicolors. An old favourite, Russell Mix has been tried and tested and will always perform, giving plenty of colour on glorious flower spikes. Awarded Gold Medal, R.H.S. 1937. Height 90cm (3'). HP - Hardy perennial. ( Please note: seeds/plants harmful if eaten.) Companion planting can transform your garden. By encouraging in pollinators and predators with key plants, you can gain a tiny gardening team to do your pest control & pollination, all with the added benefit of supporting British native wildlife by providing habitats and food sources. In return, their natural behaviours will increase your crop productivity and reduce insect pest numbers. Companion planting was widely used centuries ago in cottage gardens in Britain, but has since declined, as have the numbers of pollinators and predators. Growing Information Sow March-June under glass or outdoors for flowers May-July the following year.
