- Sansevieria bacularis Mikado is a compact hybrid Snake Plant. Sansevieria bacularis has dark green leaves with slightly paler light green striping. Considered virtually indestructible this is an excellent choice for most environments. Snake plants are great for darker offices and their air-purifying qualities make them ideal for the bedroom too
- Sold in a 12cm nursery pot
- Light: Sanseviera bacularis Mikado does best in moderate to bright, indirect light, but can also adapt to low light conditions
- Watering: Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering, then water thoroughly and allow to drain freely. Do not allow the plant to sit in water as this will cause root rot
- Temperature: Hardiness: tender (indoors only)
- Humidity: The bacularis will do fine in normal household humidity. Avoid humid locations but if brown tips develop, consider occasional misting

An excellent foliage plant with stiff, sword-like leaves and sprays of small, fragrant flowers in favourable conditions. Tolerant of a wide range of conditions. Prefers bright light with some sun. Allow compost to dry out slightly between waterings, only water every month in winter. Min temp 50°F / 10°C.
