Description
Description
Prunus Ichiyo is a popular medium-sized Japanese blossom tree. The double flowers are light shell pink, becoming white over time - and often lasting longer than other flowering cherries. The flowers are borne in clusters, creating a real spectacle when the tree is in full bloom. In autumn the leaves turn orange-red. The young branches grow with an upright habit initially, but over time the canopy will spread more widely - forming a natural vase shaped open centre tree.
