S. trifasciata var. laurentii is an erect evergreen perennial to 75cm in height, with strap-shaped, mottled grey-green leaves edged with creamy-yellow. Tubular greenish-white flowers occasionally appear in erect racemes
This plant has air purifying benefits, it filters toxins and improves the quality of air in our homes. Houseplants have also been known to reduce stress and anxiety.
Light: The Variegated Snake Plant does best in moderate to bright, indirect light environments, but can also adapt to low light conditions if preferred.
Watering: Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering. Water thoroughly and allow to drain freely. Do not allow the plant to sit in water as this will cause root rot.
Humidity: The Variegated Snake Plant will do fine in normal household humidity. Avoid humid locations but if brown tips develop, consider occasional misting.
