- Peperomia Piccolo Banda is distinguished by its thick, pale silvery-green leaves with dark green, sometimes purple tinged, heavy veining running in multiple bands down their length. Stems are a fleshy, succulent red. Green spikes of tiny flowers appear on long, thin, red stalks and waft tantalisingly above the plant
- Sold in an 11cm nursery pot
- Light: Peperomia are fine in moderate light conditions and will tolerate shade. Avoid direct sunlight. Ideal for the office or a basement flat as they do well under fluorescent lights
- Watering: Water when the soil has almost dried out. Do not overwater. Use soft water if possible and water from below. Water is stored in the leaves making these plants drought resistant
- Temperature: This plant prefers average to warm temperatures from 18-24°C but can cope with as low as 10°C at a push. Avoid cold draughts
- Humidity: Peperomia enjoy raised humidity levels but do just fine in normal household conditions. Mist occasionally for an added boost
