- Velvet Plant. A lovely foliage plant with green and purple leaves covered in colourful purple hairs. Flowers January to February. Min temp 50°F / 10°C. Likes a brightly lit spot. Water liberally spring-summer sparingly in winter. Mist foliage occasionally. Average warmth min 10C in winter.

- Light: Thrives in bright but filtered sunlight, they will loose their brilliant purple colour if they dont get enough light.
- Water: Soil should be kept only moderately moist at all times.
