- Standing proud, Ficus Tineke is a colourful and welcome addition to any living space. Its large tropical, waxy leaves boast a green and cream variegation all whist filtering the air.
- This plant has air purifying benefits, it filters toxins and improves the quality of air in our homes. Houseplants have also been known to reduce stress and anxiety.
- Light: Ficus elastica Tineke prefers bright, indirect light but does cope quite well in lower light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight as this may scorch the plant.
- Watering: Water when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil lightly moist at all times, but do not overwater as this will cause leaf drop.
- Humidity: The Tineke has no specific humidity requirements, although the occasional misting wouldn't go amiss. For an added boost, relocate to a steamier room like the kitchen or bathroom.
- Additional care advice: Pruning will encourage new growth off the side of the main central stem.
