Get Ready!

Get Ready for Spring!

On your marks, get set, go!

Our favourite season is almost here and it’s time to put on your gardening gloves and prepare your garden for the growing season ahead.

There’s plenty to be done, not to mention any tasks that were left over from Autumn. Now is a great time to plan for the gardening year ahead and create a list of things you want to achieve, or plants you want to try – perhaps even sketch out ideas for your beds and borders.

Gardening Essentials

Ensure you have enough gardening essentials such as compost, feed, weed control and pest control so that you’re ready to get growing. Gardening hand tools are a must for any gardener in order to make upcoming maintenance tasks that bit easier. Don’t forget the often forgotten accessories such as gloves to protect your hands when you’re pruning shrubs and roses, and a tub to gather garden waste in.

Green Grass

If you have moss or weeds in your lawn now is a good time to tackle them with EverGreen Complete 4-in-1 that will also feed and thicken your lawn at the same time.

Pots of Colour

Smarten up dull areas with our wide range of pots and planters, then plant them up with vibrant colour. The perfect match to brighten up the last of the short winter days.

Feed The Birds

At this time of year don’t forget to keep putting food out regularly for hungry birds. Birds require high-energy foods during the cold weather to maintain their fat reserves in order to survive. Regularly topping up bird feeders is a great way to keep attracting birds to your garden, who doesn’t love a regular visit from our feathered friends!

Let’s keep our fingers crossed for an early spring with lighter evenings so that we can get back out in our gardens and get growing!
