Prunus 'Kobuku-zakura' or 'Powder Puff' is an unusual double white flowering cherry tree. The flowers have densely packed white petals and bloom around March, occasionally with a second appearance in late autumn. The serrated green foliage turns shades of yellow to red in autumn for further interest. A compact tree, Prunus 'Kobuku-zakura' reaches around 4 metres in height over 20 years. Suited to small gardens, it creates beautiful early spring and autumn interest.
