- A small, glossy-leaved shrub, reaching around 45cm in height. The compact reddish-orange flowers are slightly fragrant and are borne in clusters from summer through until autumn.

- Position: Full sun. Aspect: South-, west-, or east-facing.
- Soil: Chalk, clay, loam, or sand.
- Ultimate height: 0.1-0.5m. Time to ultimate height: 2-5 years. Ultimate spread: 0.1-0.5m.
- For best flowering apply a balanced fertiliser and mulch in late winter or early spring and a balanced fertiliser again in early summer. For home use, propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn or by chip budding in summer. May be subject to black spot, rose rust, rose powdery mildew and a downy mildew. Suggested planting locations: city and courtyard gardens, patio and container plants, cottages and informal gardens, flower borders and beds, or cut flowers.
