  • A medium shrub rose, to about 1.2m, producing fragrant, white, fully-double rosette flowers in small clusters from early summer to late autumn.
  • Foliage: Deciduous. Habit: Bushy.
  • Position: Full sun. Aspect: South-, east-, or west-facing.
  • Soil: Clay, loam, or sand. Moisture: Moist but well-drained or well-drained. pH: Acid, alkaline, or neutral.
  • Ultimate Height: 1-1.5m. Time to ultimate height: 2-5 years. Ultimate Spread: 0.5-1m.
  • Suggested Planting Locations: city and courtyard gardens, patio and container plants, or cottages and informal gardens. Mulch in late winter and, to improve flowering, apply a balanced fertiliser in late winter or early spring and again in early summer. Propagate by semi-ripe cuttings in late summer or hardwood cuttings in autumn, or by T-budding in summer. Rose black spot, rose rust and rose powdery mildew are the most common rose diseases. Can also be affected by rose dieback, replant disease, a canker, honey fungus and a virus.
