Cactus Gymnocalycium mihanovichii Japan Mixed (5.5cm Pot)
Product Code: 261482
£4.99
- Common Name: Cactus
- Gymnocalycium cacti are starved of chlorophyll, which takes away their green colouring and gives them their cool dark pink, almost black colour. They are sold grafted ontop of another type of cactus
- Sold in a 5.5cm nursery pot
- Light: It grows best in bright light and cant tollerate some direct sunlight. If the plant doesn’t get enough bright light, the color starts to fade
- Watering: Water the plant regularly throughout the spring and summer months as well as the fall. In the winter months, water infrequently. Before watering, check the soil. It should dry out between watering to avoid the root system rotting away
- Soil: It will grow best in the normal commercial cactus soil with good drainage. We reccomend mixing pearlite with a standard cacti & suculent potting compost
- Additional care advice: This cactus cannot survive on its own roots. It always needs a host, it often comes grafted onto another type of cactus
