  • Attractive, herbaceous, pinnate foliage.
  • Position: Full sun. Aspect: East-facing or west-facing.
  • Ideal for moist but well-drained soil.
  • Ultimate height: 0.5-1m. Time to ultimate height: 2-5 years. Ultimate spread: 0.1-0.5m.
  • Will not tolerate winter wet. Mulch over crown in cold areas. Propagate by seed, or take basal stem cuttings in spring. Suggested planting locations: cottage and informal gardens, patio and container plants, city and courtyard gardens, and flower borders and beds.
