The fireplace also has a heat-resistant coating to protect the fireplace and an ash tray. The shape and high flue pipe of the BonTon ensure that the smoke is carried away. The front of the BonTon is fitted with a detachable spark screen. This prevents the logs from falling out of the fireplace, as well as sparks from flying around.
