- This Golden Dawn Redwood had an upright, pyramidal form and is slightly slower growing than the straightforward Dawn Dedwood, reaching 8 x 4 metres in 20 years. 'Goldrush' is the perfect tree for moist, boggy or waterlogged sites in a sunny or partially shaded spot. With the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this is a lovely tree for yellow foliage if you have the space
- Requires a moist, well-drained site but is suited to most soil types. Metasequoia Goldrush trees do not require a lot of pruning. Simply remove any dead, diseased or awkwardly placed branches as and when you see them

- If you’re planting Dawn Redwood in spring, summer or dry weather, water well and regularly for the first few months.
