A soil conditioner and source of calcium and magnesium in an easy to use, virtually dust-free granular form. An excellent conditioner for all types of soil. It improves the drainage of heavy, sour, clay soils, making them more friable and easier to work. Garden Lime will also eliminate the conditions under which club root disease in cabbages and other brassicas thrive. Can also be used as an autumn top dressing on lawns. Garden Lime can be applied to acid soils on an annual basis after September and to normal soils every two to three years. It can also be added to compost when specified in the mix.
