We are delighted to have been awarded silver for the Greatest Garden Centre Grotto Team in the Greatest Christmas Awards 2022. We have been working hard with Santa and his little helpers to ensure we provide good boys and girls with an ever better experience for 2023! Whilst we don’t want to give too much away as everyone loves a surprise at Christmas, we wanted to give you an idea of what to expect.

The Experience for 2023

Start your experience with a stroll through our enchanted forest, soak in the surroundings and enjoy the magical trail of lights leading you to Jungle Base Camp. Here you will be greeted by one of our explorer elves who has a special mission for you to complete on your quest to find Santa. At Jungle Base Camp, there will be an opportunity for you to have a professional photo taken as a souvenir. (These photos can be viewed and purchased at the grotto exit).

As you leave Jungle Base Camp, you are well away on your expedition to find Santa! You will have the chance to participate in exciting activities as you journey through the jungle and across the Antarctic to the North Pole. Keep an eye out for cheeky chimpanzees who have escaped Jungle Base Camp!

After all the expedition excitement, you will have the chance to make some magical reindeer food for Rudolph and his friends to help fuel their flight on Christmas Eve.

Visit Santa’s Cabin and Workshop

When you hear Santa’s bell ring, you will step into Santa’s Cosy Cabin. You and your family will meet Santa and have the chance to tell him your Christmas wishes. A professional photo is taken alongside Santa in his cabin. (These photos can be viewed and purchased at the grotto exit).

Your journey doesn’t stop there! Santa will give you a special ticket to take to his toy workshop, where you can exchange it for a present of your choice. (Age-related present as per booking).

Photo Souvenirs

As you exit Santa’s Workshop, you can view and purchase the photos taken during your experience. There will be individual items for sale, such as prints and keyrings, and the opportunity to buy special offer photo packages for you to share with your family or give as a gift this Christmas.

Free Entry to Willows Birds of Prey & Wildlife Trail

The experience doesn’t end with seeing Santa, your ticket also includes free entry to Willows Birds of Prey & Wildlife Trail on the day of your visit (unless your ticket is booked after 3.00pm your visit can be redeemed on another date throughout December 2023 or January 2024). See wallabies, chipmunks, alpacas, birds of prey and more as you make your way around the 7 acre trail. Please note you will receive your free entry voucher code in your Grotto ticket confirmation e-mail.

Children: £18.50 each

Under 12 months: £4.95 each

Adults: £7.50 each

Tickets include entry to Willow’s Birds of Prey & Wildlife Trail (voucher code e-mailed with your booking confirmation).

Spaces are limited and pre-booking is essential. All children must be accompanied by at least one paying adult.
