At Willows Birds of Prey & Wildlife Trail, we are passionate about birds of prey and we love to spread that passion! We know there’s nothing quite like getting up close to our birds. With a visit to our nature trail, you’ll get the chance to handle and fly a variety of birds of prey, in complete safety, surrounded by beautiful Kent countryside and with a trained falconer on hand.
We host experience days, where you have the opportunity to be up close to our stunning, intelligent hunting birds! Our trained and experienced falconers will lead the experiences in a safe and knowledgeable environment. Experience Days include Introduction to Falconry, Bird of Prey Experience, Owl Encounter and Hawk Walk! We also offer private events such as Corporate Days and Party Packages.
In addition to this, we carry out Off or On Site Educational Visits, offering demonstrations that link to the national curriculum and covering subjects such as conservation, diet, habitat and biology.
Willows Birds of Prey & Wildlife Trail is where you have the chance to see many other animals too including alpacas, ferrets (who like to have a race!), pigs, goats and more! We love educating our visitors about the animals and how we care for them.
Willows Birds of Prey & Wildlife Trail opening hours:
Monday to Sunday 10am to 4pm, with last entry to the trail at 3.30pm
Flying birds at 11am and 1.30pm and keeper talks at 12pm and 3pm (subject to change during half term and holiday periods)
