I am Sarah and I am the founder and owner of The Little Craft Hut a new and exciting yarn shop for all your knitting and crotchets needs.
My passion for knitting and crotchet started at the young age of 7 being taught by my mum with it often being thrown across the floor in temper. Thankfully those outbursts have stopped. It was always a dream of mine and mum’s to have our own yarn shop and would often look into empty shops and talk about how we would make it. Sadly I lost my mum to Dementia in 2021 and thought that was also the end of the dream. However my husband encouraged me to carry on with it and in February 2025 I was able to open my very first yarn shop at Coolings Garden centre.
I sell a good variety of yarns and have a small stock of knitting needles and crotchet hooks.
Also on offer are knitting and crochet courses open to all ages from beginner to more advanced. Children to adults.
Course times vary from daytimes to evening courses, small groups and one to ones.
I try to tailor courses to the client so you achieve what you want to whether that’s knitting a basic square or something more adventurous like socks or a jumper.
