Held on Thursdays, with a choice of either a morning 9.30am – 12.30pm or afternoon 1pm – 4pm class.
Starts Thursday 16th September 2021.
Relax and have fun, learning in the company of fellow gardeners.
No exams, no pressure, no requirement for any prior course attendance.
Suitable for anyone with a love of gardening, this exciting and informative course covers a fascinating range of topics.
Topics to be Covered:
• Weekly plant identification
• Scent in the garden
• Pollinators and how they see plants
• Plant senses
• Edible ornamentals
• Exotic trees in the garden
• Fruit growing in the small garden
Classroom days will include practical demonstrations in Coolings gardens and production nursery, with lots of discussion, laughter and fun!
This course includes seven full-day visits to gardens and places of horticultural interest. The days of the visits will run from 9am – 4pm. The price includes all coach trips, but not entry to the gardens.

• Anglesey Abbey
• Chiswick House gardens
• Hyde Hall
• Savill Gardens
• West Dean
Visits are dependent on COVID restrictions at the time and any visits on coaches will abide by rules and restrictions.
