| Ian Hazon - Director | ||
Ian is our Production Director and an expert in annuals/bedding plants. Ian has been with Coolings since 1991 when he started as Glasshouse Supervisor, but is now in charge of the production of over 1 million bedding and patio plants, plus 6000 hanging baskets every year. Ian has previously worked for two years on a commercial bedding plant nursery whilst studying for phase I and II City & Guilds Horticulture. He went to Hadlow College in1988 and gained a National certificate in Glasshouse crops and in 1991 gained a National Diploma. He then joined Coolings as Glasshouse Supervisor under the guidance of Michael Cooling, father of our current Chairman, Paul. Over the years Ian has taken on more and more responsibilities, becoming manager of our entire bedding plant production then at the beginning of 2009 he was appointed Production Director. He is still managing our glasshouse production team but will be increasingly casting his eye further afield to streamline our production processes whilst maintaining the highest quality of plants Coolings is renowned for. |
