John our wildlife expert has a keen interest in birdcare and wildlife in general. Having done conservation work in Britain and Senegal. John is also a keen photographer and works as the shop manager at Green & Pleasant. John had worked in horticulture for over 15 years, and has worked at Coolings twice rejoining the Gardeners Garden Centre in 2002. Before John's stints at Coolings he worked at Whiteleggs Nursery (now Coolings Green & Pleasant) before Whiteleggs was taken over by Country Gardens. Qualifications include the Garden Care Certificate and the HTA Shop Care Award. John was also a teacher in textile design and has a Degree in Textiles. John is also heavily involved with our seasonal Christmas department at Green & Pleasant having collected Christmas decorations for the last 10 years mainly from New York. |
