Blackberry Rubus ‘Waldo’
This early, thornless variety is a heavy cropper which produces large, glossy, conical berries. ‘Waldo’ is a deciduous, upright to arching compact shrub and its attractive fruit is bursting with flavour. The berries are perfect for putting in tarts, pies, crumble and jam.

Loganberry Rubus x Loganobaccus
Rubus x loganobaccus, the loganberry, is a lovely cross between a raspberry and blackberry. Berries are slightly longer and more cone-shaped than a raspberry with a juicier and sharper flavour. These plants are sturdy and more disease and frost resistant than many other berry hybrids and usually produce fruit throughout August and September. The large berries should be allowed to darken to a deep purple colour before picking to obtain the best-flavoured fruit. Undemanding, easy to grow, and continue to fruit for many years. They’re self-fertile and ideal for using in pies, summer puddings and jams.
